Looking for the standard form, not blue. From what I understand the blue form is a little pickier about when it flowers and I'm not in the mood for picky right now.

That's what I've heard too but it hasn't been picky about flowering for me at least, just fewer flowers
To get it to flower, you should keep it almost flooded for a bit until you see flowers at least

Yeah, I've read several accounts that flooding it seems to help trigger flowering.

Still, I like the look of the typicals a bit better. They're more bunny-like.
