Drosera aliciae is a nice easy to grow rosetted Sundew from South Africa. It's a beginner's plant, almost as bulletproof as a Cape Sundew. They grow up to about three inches in diameter. Mine produced seed this year. So it's time for another giveaway, one package containing 25 - 100 seeds. Winner supplies SASE. Anyone interested?

All members are eligible.
(Non-US members, please check U.S. and your country's Postal regulation to verify legality.)
Make a numbered list. Copy and paste and add your name and number to the first empty spot. Don't delete any previous entries. (If you're not sure, look for "Giveaway" on the forum's search function for older giveaway posts )
Winner will be chosen by random drawing on September 9th, 2016 at 17:00 C.D.S.T. Entries after this are not accepted.
I will PM winner with my mailing address for SASE.

Not sure what an SASE is, Click here: http://www.terraforums.com/forums/carni ... -sase.html

Good luck to all!

The giveaway is now closed.

Okay, first toss of the 20 sided mechanical random number generator is 11, no good.
Second toss of the die is 1. We have a winner.

1. Hollyhock is the winner. All those giveaways she did must have built up some unbeatable Karma.

I'll PM my address so she can get an SASE in the mail and collect her prize.

Thank you to everyone who entered.
I'm sorry I don't have enough seeds for everyone but only one plant flowered this year. Next year I should have 6 - 10 of my aliciae flowering.

Stay tuned for more giveaways in the near future. I have Drosera intermedia flowering profusely. I have one D. capensis "Wide Leaf" and two D. capensis "Alba" flowering and generating seed. I'm doing my bit for spreading those species around. I've received seed and plants from many people over the years and I'm trying to Pay It Forward as best as I can.

Good growing,
Mike

Thanks for hosting this giveaway. I do believe that giveaways add a lot of fun to this forum. And it also gives members a chance to expand their plant collections. When I first joined I was always excited for the chance to win some seeds or a plant. I have won a few and will continue to host what I hope are entertaining giveaways. Stay tuned because I will be hosting another one in the near future. I have lots of seeds to share.. Thanks again :D

The seeds have been mailed.

Today I just noticed that my Drosera capensis "Big Pink" (Purchased clone from Fly Trap King) is starting to send up a flower stalk. So I guess I have one more giveaway to add to the list.

Good growing to all.
Mike
