I bought 10 "Hummers Giant" seeds from a well known person in this forum and sow them in TC (hope the they are HG). Only 2 seeds germinated. Pictures for fun. :)

I don't stratify seeds. When I got them I sow them right away. If I remember correctly seeds germinate after 2 weeks but they grow very slowly. I check my messages and I bought them from Pokie22. I bought 5 seeds not 10 and 2 seeds grow up. This is the first time I sow Cephalotus seeds and 2 out of 5 seeds germinate; it's very good to me, thank Pokie22. :)

very reasonable success rate... they werent refrigerated for stratification, just storage by the guy who donated them to our seed bank (who also has some of the best cephs i have seen)

I wish. :)
He means they won't be "Hummer's Giant" seedlings, but rather Selfed Hummer's Giant seedlings, at best. Which is HG x HG. They may look very much like HG, but aren't clones, so don't have the same cultivar name.
