Species: Nepenthes jacquelineae, BE - 3093
Camera: Whatever's on the iPhone 3GS.
Country: United States

I used Instagram filters to black out the background a bit. This photo was taken less than one week ago and the plant has been in my possession since autumn of last year.

This is the first VFT that I ever grew from seed. The seeds were purchased from Michael Sprouse and the cross is Long Red Fingers X DCXL. I have had this plant it's entire life.

Was kinda difficult to photograph, The fly was actually still alive and fighting so hard to get out. I ended up moving around a lot and refocusing for over half an hour before I started getting the shots I liked!

I created this image for my college photography class, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! I took two photos to create this image, one of my flytrap and one of my hand. Then I combined them to make it look like someone was being eaten alive by my flytrap lol.

Plant Species: King Henry
Camera: Sony DSC-H200
Camera Settings: f5.4, ISO 400, no flash
How long I've owned this plant: About 1 year
Country: USA
