My Sawtooth really has no traps at all and is not showing signs of waking up at all. Same for my Towering giant, and King henry. now my king henry and towering giant are in 14 inch deep pots now

They dont look good from above but the rhizomes look like this on all of them. this is the larger sawtooth plant. none of them are showing signs of waking up at all while some of my other plants are sending up flower stalks.

The rhizome on that plant in the last photo of the first post looks extremely healthy. I wouldn't be at all concerned if all of the rhizomes look like that. Just give them some time to break dormancy. Even here in mild southern Oregon, most of our plants are being conservative with putting out spring growth. Another month or 6 weeks and it will be a different story :)
