I don't have any experience with aquatic utrics, but which one has the largest bladders? It would be nice if I could git rid of a mosquito problem in my backyard by getting rid of larvae.

For aquatics, I believe Utricularia reflexa is considered the largest.

There is also the epiphytic Utricularia humboldtii and terrestrial Utricularia arnhemica is known to grow very large traps, even above ground.

Heh, always thought the vulgaris had the biggest traps, good to know, there is one that has even bigger ones. I wonder, how big, cultivars will be able to get traps to grow in the future?

Dang, I always thought vulgaris's traps were large, but reflexa's are huge!
