Careful handling is required always !
I was trying to kill or at least control algae. The easiest method was to remove them. But i will use a few metods to kill them.
First is with isopropyl alcohol :
Befor i put a few times that i put this substance on them (a few moss where on the algae to) and after a few days they look like they are frozen or something (if you break a lighter and put the substance from within on your fingers, you know what i mean)

Isopropyl alcohol can change the soil chemistry, and kill your plants. I would highly recommend the usage of 3% hydrogen peroxide. It stunts algae growth, and decomposes into water and hydrogen gas in the presence of light.
