In my search to get another nice Sarracenia flava var. atropurpurea to grow with my others, I ended up going with Sarracenia Northwest since I kept coming up empty handed. I've never bought anything from them in the past, but I am impressed with the packing skills and quick shipping time. The plant itself is a beautiful division that is healthy. Since I just got it, it is still in the pot it was shipped in, but it will be repotted into a larger pot to allow for more growing room. I'm definitely happy with everything.

Sorry about the cellphone pictures.

I've always been happy with plants from Sarracenia Northwest and even managed to get a very difficult to find Roridula from them this year. Your new plant looks great just as I'd expect!

I noticed they had Roridula earlier this year, and it was tempting (just lack the area to grow it properly). You are lucky to have got one of those plants!

I thought the same thing as well for some reason. They didn't even fold the pitchers over either, they just covered the pitchers with clear plastic cups cut and taped together. It is nice that they didn't cut them, especially given the relatively slow growth rate this variety has. Now I have some time to enjoy the pitchers before the growing season comes to a close.

That must have been quite the amount of plastic cups...
It only took them four 12 oz cups to protect it haha. They served their purpose well though.
