New Drosera species found in Brazil! Drosera magnifica

by David F » Fri Jul 24, 2015 8:05 pm

Recently Drosera magnifica was described by Fernando!

He is well known for studying plants in these areas. This plant is rivaling even the great D. regia. Really a find of the century when it comes to sundews!

Looking for any drosera capensis via seed, pm me!
I'm interested in any sundews.

I saw this today, and it already tops the list of my favorite droseras. I love the weird regia/spiralis hybrid leaves and that massive stem. Hopefully we'll see it soon in cultivation (and hopefully it won't be as hard as some other South American droseras to grow lol)

Hope these end up for sale somewhere.
