this poor little venus fly trap i found in my little brother trashcan today so i pick it up and repot it with little sphagnum peat moss and made it a little pot for the venus fly trap can you help me if this venus fly trap will survive?

I see a little bit of white left on that bulb, but I'm pretty sure he's gone. It won't hurt to try, though.

The photos are a bit blurry. What condition was the bulb in? Was it brown and mushy or did it have some solid creamy white to it at all?
