I got an alien from FTS here at least two months ago. From everything I've read it's supposed to be a vigorous grower, but mines just not putting out new traps like my other vfts do. Any suggestions? Should I give it a repot?

It looks very health and it's got a lot of new traps, but the older traps look like they're prematurely browning. And I think I can see what looks like mite damage, though it could be just normal trap loss of older leaves. Have you inspected the plant for pests?

Yes, you should be able to make them out with a magnifying glass if you're eyesight is good. We use a jeweler's loupe (10x) and that works well, but I can often make them out without any aid if I see the damage and know to look for them. They look like teeny tiny red specks on the traps. Often times you won't see them exactly where the damage is, but rather on the underside of the trap or leaf.
