Saw my first sign of pests today. A pitcher chewed in half and some worm droppings. I usually spray at the first sign of growth but didnt this year so I guess thats what I get. Its also why im big on preventative spraying versus reactive spraying...you lose pitchers :( .

For caterpillar control, using BT works & is much less toxic. This is especially important in the spring as using a systemic pesticide may kill (or damage) pollinators visiting the flowers.

That's what I use. It's cheaper than the Bayer hehe, so that's why I got it.

Dionae, would you recommend I spray my plants now too? I had some very minor caterpillar damage, should I nuke now or just hold off a while?

All right, I'll go ahead and wait then. I still have some flowers coming up.
