Just an update on my monsters! I guess they're looking happier since I last got them in November. A lot of young ones still growing...

Haha, trust me, you don't, people in south Florida have trouble growing temperate cps because of dormancy, I can't imagine how it is closer to the equator

Hmmmmm that's a really good point. I'll stick with my Northern California coastal climate :pp

SFLGuy, you are right, this is not a good place for growing VFT. For me, they do grow better from dec to may but june to nov is disastrous if i am not alert. Even thought I am, there isn't much I can baby sit them. But this is just my place.

Tish I've checked from someone who knows the people who imported the vfts we have into Singapore. Apparently, the vfts are nurtured in Genting, Malaysia so they're more accustomed to our climate..don't know how much we can trust this statement though

Climate's awesome but yeah, trying to grow vfts here is kinda tricky, i guess i'm pretty lucky that it's been going ok...

I do wish we have 4 seasons sometimes! It's either very rainy or sunny here!

Zk9. your are right . they come mainly from afew nurseries near Genting and cameroon highlands. one popular nursery is YG. The location is approx. 400km away. The climate and growing condition is very different, not to mention the altitude has a benefit for growing cp. Singapore is way different.
