So... 3 months since the last pics and the 3 laid me over 2,000 ova which I have sold almost half of.

Anyway, they have started hatching and the oldest is now 4th instar. She lost a leg though in her previous moult and isn't looking that pretty so here are two pics. One of a 1st instar and the other of a 2nd instar.

Interesting stuff you have here!!


I actually found one of these in my exploring days but it camo itself so well I could not make out what was it, I've only managed to photograph the face and still didnt know what it was until much later.

What do you think?

The structure of the head and the one hind leg I can see suggests that it's a Gryllidae (family consisting of crickets). Don't take my word for it though lol. I'm not really good at identifying anything other than Mantids, Phasmids, or beetles. hehe :p
