It's been a while since I've posted anything here. I downloaded the tapatalk app and have just been perusing the forums on my phone for months. Meanwhile life has been super busy, been promoted at work and started working way more hours while also getting back into school to finish my degree. On the plus side I've somehow kept all of my plants alive, and just recently received a new Nepenthes Sanguinea 'orange' from California Carnivores! Very excited about it and I have it set up in a terrarium with a heatmat/humidifier and growlights. It has been growing well and is even inflating its first pitcher for me. Also today I received some awesome stuff in the mail, I got a 20 pack if VFT seeds from the one and only Matt!! Annd Drosera dichotoma 'triffida' seeds as well as a pack of S. ( leucophylla 'red' x minor 'giant' ) x ( x extreme unction ) seeds from California Carnivores! I can't wait to try and grow these plants from seed, it seems to be a very rewarding experience!

Hi Rmac88, welcome back! With all those seeds, it sounds like you felt you weren't busy enough already ;) California Carnivores sells great plants, don't they?!

Yes they do! I'm very excited, although managing my new position at work, two kids and a wife, a new puppy and school while growing a ton of seedlings is going to be a challenge, i still look forward to it! In my opinion it isn't worthwhile if it isn't challenging. Course, you may find out later I've been committed to an institution :-p

Luckily, I find seedlings pretty easy. They seem to just do their thing without much help. It's when they grow up and you have to start finding new spots for them that's when I get in trouble. Maybe your puppy will at least be trained by then ;)

I sure hope so! Just got done sowing all these seeds. I never knew Sundew seeds were sooooo tiny, I was terrified to breathe around them! Got the flytraps planted the other day and Sundews today, as well as my Sarracenia seeds put into the fridge for their stratification. I can't wait to see if all these seeds sprout! Also, my Nepenthes just popped open its first pitcher for me! Very excited I haven't killed it hahaha
