I wanted to know if anyone here had any experience with this utric, what temperatures do the "lowland" clones like? Can I grow them inside large Bromeliads without any other media? Thanks in advance for any info i can get :)

I've been growing one for about 9 months. It's in a 3:1 LFS:perlite slurry, at a basically constant 70-74 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a 16 hour photoperiod, and has done very well. I got my clone from California Carnivores, but they did not specify if their clone is a highland or lowland one. I've found it to be pretty easy. Just be sure to give it enough light, it is prone to etiolating easily.
I've noticed that it tends to prefer fairly waterlogged conditions. I don't know if it will grow without media though.

Sorry for late reply.

Many people have tried growing U. humboldtii in bromeliads with mixed results - some have grown well & some haven't. People have also grown them in Heli pitchers (& in the Heli pots) with some success. My largest plants grows uncaged in the bottom of my 75 gal tank where it gets huge (18" leaves & flower stalk longer than 4 foot). I also had a potted clone flower on my east-facing windowsill - they're very adaptable.
