I haven't been growing these for a long time, but here are some photos of the plants that I grow outdoors and others that are in a terrarium. These are some of the photos I have taken throughout the year since starting out.

Sarracenia leucophylla, for some reason this pitcher developed with only red venation on one half of the pitcher. This is the only one from that growth point that did it.

Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle', this is the first pitcher that has grown since buying it and of course it is nearing the end of the growing season.

Haha, it is neat though . Another pitcher opened up this week on that growth point and it looks normal like all the others.


Today I had the first flower open on my Drosera aliciae which is flowering for the second time since getting it. It must have decided to take after the leucophylla and do something different . When I went to take pictures I noticed it had six petals instead of the normal five. I'll have to see if it happens again as the successive flowers open up. This flower scape also started out differently compared to the first time it flowered. At least I will have a second chance at collecting seeds. The first time around the seeds were thrown away by somebody else.

Drosera paleacea gemmae from Midtown Carnivores. First time with pygmy drosera and gemmae, and I was able to get all 10 that I received to grow.

Dionaea muscipula 'akai ryu', this plant had to be repotted a couple months ago after it quickly declined for some reason, so it looks a little beat up but came around fairly well. Hopefully it will come back strong next year.

An unknown Sarracenia seedling that hitched along with some plants that I got at the beginning of summer. Never expected it to survive since it had a good amount of damage and very little growth at the time.

Here's a better shot of the 40 breeder makeshift terrarium after a bit of rearranging. One thing I have learned, I will never use round pots in the terrarium again. It is a pain to organize it in a way that makes use of the space effectively. I still need to move the two Nepenthes to a space outside of the terrarium, but I need to set up some new shelving for more growing space.

Yeah, I definitely won't be making that mistake again. I'll either have to repot them again after I give them some time since they were recently repotted, or just move them when I set up more growing area. All I know is the disorganization of the pots bothers me every time I look at it, which is far too often .
