I thought I did not see the watering part. You can water slowly gradually but make sure the soil is moist but drier than usual.

If you water tray. you can water lesser and do not let ur plant pot sit in water. Water less frequently . Vft should know it's time to sleep :)

Water it less, but don't stop altogether. I am making a little hoop house to cover with plastic for cold days. I will try putting a blanket on at night to protect them during super cold nights. I have frozen mine solid (they survived, thankfully. flytraps are tough!) so I want to protect them a bit more this year.
