Here are some shots taken at 5:30 am. I was there to do a Morning news program, shot from the garden. The place is exploding with plants. We have far more VFT and other plants than we have ever had, even before the poaching. Cutting back the overgrowth of the garden completely last fall has resulted in an amazing amount of new plants. The sundews in areas literally carpet the ground as where before we had very few. The flytraps well, they are everywhere now, it's wonderful! The Sarracinias are growing like six to ten cm a day. I really have never seen anything like it. Saturday is our public event The Fly Trap Frolic. If you are near Southeast North Carolina, please come and see our wonderful garden. I'm rather proud because as a year ago we were on the verge of losing this wonderful habitat due to overgrowth and neglect. But thanks to many people on this forum through their donations of plants and seeds, this wonderful example of carnivorous plants in a naturalized setting is quickly becoming a showcase. My sincere thanks to all that have helped over this last year.
