Well Michigan has not been very kind to everyone this and since my grow list tripled this winter.

The whole reason I created this was because I was going on vacation, between the local hydroponics store and me being overly creative this is what happened.

It was supposed to be a drip system but the pump I got was a little to high of gph.

Now I put a little thought into the pots I bought because they will go outside once the weather warms up

So what does everyone think of the setup, the price actually wasn't that bad for the watering system. So far everyone is happy with the new system.

You're ingenious! :D

How far do you keep the light from the plants and how many lumens do the light bulbs have?

I keep the light about 6 inches away right now, it a new setup but my sarracenia's seem to really like it. I do believe they about 1800 lumen per fixture, I'm on vacation now and don't remember off the top of my bed

You have three fixture per shelf, so that makes 5400 lumens/shelf.

Great looking setup, how exactly does it work? Meaning what part does what? I am new to this so I apologize, just trying to figure everything out.

Yea I looked it up this morning, the hole purpose of this setup was a self maintaining growing environment so while I was away on vacation I didn't have to worry about anything. It is also to deal with the ridiculous winter michigan had this year and at the same time I had a lot of fun with it. I will admit it is a bit extravagant but it will get me through the winter and far enough into spring and then I will put them outside.
