Do they purify the water enough so it can be used to water vft's ?

Hello STEVIEFLY,

Generally, they don't filter enough solids from water. I have tried so many brands and still reaches 90 or more when testing with a TDS meter. The best and cheapest way for me to get pure water is by using Aquarium Phamaceutical's Tap Water Filter. They say that it's good to 50 gallons but it depends on how hard your water source is. I usually get 80 gallons.
