What's a good artificial light I could use for my VFT's?

Help is deeply appreciated.

From what I understand from another forum member on here (Maiden), this is the way to go:
http://www.ehydroponics.com/sunblaster- ... combo.html

Here are a couple of threads where he talks about Sunblaster lights, and shows the incredible results:

I must say that I'm a believer; In the future, I plan on switching any indoor plants I have to the Sunblaster lights. I just have too much invested in my current system of 4 ft. flourescents and CFLs, most of which are 6500k. Adequate, but I'm assuming not the best.

The results shown by Maiden with his Sunblaster lights are the best I've ever seen. Like sbrooks, I have some 4 foot fluorescents (shop lights) that get the job done for my purposes, but I'm sure there are much better options. The high output T5s that I have seem to be excellent. Of course, as with most things, the trade off is price :)

I did some looking around on this site, i am thinkng of getting a VFT for my work office. Only problem is we are in the basement of the hospital... So i was wondering are the standard flourescent lights in the office good enough do i need to go purchase a special lamp for my VFT? Any help would be appreciated.

You will need a light dedicated to the fly trap. The lights on the ceiling are way too far away. You'll need something between 6-12 inches away (depends on type of light)

(00:18:52) wonderboy: If anyone reads this I was wondering. I just got my seeds today and my mom realized she forgot the fluorescent light. It's snowing outside so she's not going anywhere and they can't go outside. But I have a bearded dragon and his cage is warm and has the light. He's a juvenile so his cage is big enough for her to not bother them but small enough for the cage to spread heat so the plant will be heated. Is it ok if I put them in there along with my beardie
