I guess you are refering to a camera lens ?
If so, I use a 180mm Canon close-up lens for my DSLR But you can use a Standard kitlens like for instance the 75-300mm from Canon, they usualy have a macro option to.
Tip: always use a tripod ! With macro photography the slightest movement wil blur your picture .
