Capensis is VERY easy to grow from seed scattered directly on top of regular CP compost. It can end up becoming a weed in some collections as the seeds easily establish new plants in other pots and also on the floor of the greenhouse. If you do grow this plant in a greenhouse it is wise to remove the seed pods before they open!
