i was wondering what are some good cheap grow lights in the market that you guys have had success with. would it be better to get the florescent ones or LED grow lights. help me out, i wanna speed the growth of these seeds!!

Get 4' shop lights with either T5 or T8 bulbs (I use T8s, T5s are better but more expensive and put out more heat). You can pick up the fixtures for $20 at Home Depot or Lowes.

Hello,

For best light spectrum, go for t8 or LED. It's easier to assemble LEDs that to buy a pre-made one. I use 3X3 watt Bright White LEDs for my seeds and plantlets and they germinate/grow faster. Paid 30 bucks for 3 LEDs and a driver. Total 9 watts is equivalent to 50 watts incandescent.

I was thnking about going for the 4' flourecent t8 bulbs, but where did you buy those 3x3 LED from?

i checked on ebay and saw a couple of LED lights that look interesting for a good price. what do you guys think about them, would they do the job?

so that one projects white LED's, but the seller also has red / blue or red and blue LED grow lights. which do you think would be better if any of these are worth buying.

also what voltage would work best, 120v or 240v.
