Hey everyone,

I took some leave pullings a while ago when i transplanted my d. aliciae.
Now after 1,5month or so, i see tiny white hairs growing on the part where it was attached to the motherplant.

How should i proceed next?
How long should the hairs? (roots i guess) be?
Whats the best way of planting them?

If anyone wishes some photos, i made a few so i could upload them to clear things up.

I also cut a D. muscipula flower stalk, ive put 4 of them already in sopping whet peat, but can u place this in floating RO water to germinate?
If so, when do i know when to plant it, well treat it like the questions above^^

Ps. nidiformis and venusta seeds finaly germinated =D
now waiting for rotundifolia, intermedia purpurea and muscipula seeds to germeniate.

They should start to grow a little "bump" somewhere on the leaf before they grow plantlets.
They will not grow little hairs first.
They grow the bump, which turns into leaves, which then grow, then it will grow roots.
Those hairs are probably the stipule hairs from the plant if it was a pulling. Most Drosera do not need pullings.
I suggest giving it more time.
As long as it is still green, let it keep growing.
When it has leaves, just put it on sopping peat.

The Dionaea flower stalks need some sort of soil mix.
I didn't have luck when I tried them in pure water.

my drosera capensis alba pulling in water has developed a bump in the middle after about 3 weeks, i was about to give up on them, is this a good sign??

I do think so, but i will need a photo to confirm ^^

As long the leaves is still green, there is still hope.

the leaf with the bump on is the top left one, no growth has been seen on any of my 10 cuttings
