So I went on a trip from Thursday night to around the same time today so about 3 days. I made sure my plants had extra water in the trays and a large plastic bag around all of them to keep them from drying out.
I was expecting them to respond to the sudden change but not in the way they did.
My sundews have 10x more dew.
3 or more new growth points from every sarracenia including ones I have had for about 2 months in which I have not seen any growth.
New growth on heliamphora..
New growth on cephalotus..
Strikes on my drosera cutting..
And new growth on my darlingtonia which I have had since early December with no growth until now.

So obviously this change went in the exact opposite direction than what I expected but.. One more change is a large influx of algae or maybe something else, can you tell me what this is? And should I keep my makeshift green house the way I left it for the weekend?( there is still water in the trays, not sure if that's good or bad I had about 5-6 plants per tray).. If I do continue this should I use less water, my results were astounding and I want the growth to continue. Here's some pictures of the algae( at least I think it's algae ) and the new growth.

My main concern is the green stuff.

Thanks, usually I have a space heater pointing in their direction, blowing out hot air.

I would spot treat the algae areas with neem oil extract. Just be careful near drosera. They tend to droop when treated with fungicide directly.

You should be able to purchase it in the organic gardening section of Lowes. I use Garden Safe brand Fungicide 3-in-1, which uses 0.9% clarified hydrophobic extract of neem oil. It is a Schultz product and is OMRI approved. I have not used this product on Drosera nor Pinguicula.

Even though algae isn't a fungus?

Neem oil works on pretty much everything in my experience. When I sprayed my areas of algae lightly, it went away.

Alright, should I be cautious with the plants?

I don't think so, algae only require water and sunlight.

Can anybody help? Should I keep the "greenhouse" due to its effect on growth or what? What about the algae?

In my experience, hardening your plants by not giving them perfect conditions pays off. For example, a plant will have less need to grow an elaborate root system if conditions are always moist (the roots will have no need to grow out in search of water). It also causes your plant to be prone to mold, algae and root rot. For Drosera and Pinguicula, the food will easily mold in humid envirnments with little airflow. If those were my plants, I would only keep the humidity domes for a month or so for seedlings only.

Right though the growth was really astounding I'm thinking of transplanting them all into live sphagnum and bringing back the effect, does anyone feel like this would be ok?
