So yeah, Veronis is amazing, is he not? He's done so many guides on here, and is the first person to actually lead me to a successful leaf pulling.
Yeah, I know. I've never had a good pulling until now! Thanks to Veronis' guide on leaf pullings in water I have something which I think amounts to success.

Here they are.

Dionaea "G16"

Yay, roots!

Dionaea Typical
No roots, but it's still alive after two months, so I'm hopeful.

Had to wash out the tray due to algae. Now I've refilled and clingfilmed.

I may take some more cuttings, just to see how well it'll work, and because I'd love an army of "G16"

Thanks Veronis!

Hey Daniel,

I agree, it might be nice to add the link to his tut. in your original post.

Congrats!

I'm looking forward to seeing all my Sarracenia in full growth again, but Dionaea is growing on me. Literally and metaphorically.

Sander, you ask, I deliver :D

Hehe, my hands were itching, 3 VFT in the same pot (one even put 2 flowers up in 2 weeks time), and i know its dormancy but i have to place to give it to them this year.

So i repoted them and got some leaf pullings, how do the roots look?

And i accedently broke a small root of, can i propagate with it?

Daniel, thats not roots, they are small plantlets, you'll get a bunch of plants from that pulling that way. I usually take a pulling and put it in a small plastic container of distilled water and forget about it for a while.

I saw Veronis' tutorial on water propagation and I def want to try it. Looks like he's had great success!
My only negative opinion would be the slower and more tedious process of decreasing their humidity after growing submerged in water.
Especially when I read that people have gotten strikes in soil with lower humidity.

I'm about to repot my VFTs very soon so I'll get quite a few pullings to attempt to grow. :D

Great job again, Veronis!
