my little spatulata is producing dews again and have been PRETTY hungry
it's also starting to get redder tentacles
plantlets as well

Don't remove that dead plant material on the stem, it is known as a skirt, if you remove it your plant may have a hard time staying up, one day you might have to remove and use propagation method to preserve the plant.
