I have a carnivorous plant, I believe it's called a star plant (common name). I bought it from a grocery store. It's about 3 years old. It has large broad leaves that are green in color and sticky feeling. It blooms all the time producing a light purple 5 petaled flower on a long slender stem. Does anyone have any info on it? It seems very healthy. I'm just curious. Thanks

Thanks for answering so quickly. NO to all your questions. The plant stays green, the flower stalk is straight and the leaves are hairless and feel slimy to the touch.
