I just went by the gardening centre, and they had a VFT, and i couldn't resist.

Now the problem is, the temperature outside was -15 C last night, and there was snow.
The plant is used to 18 degrees or so of the gardening centre, what is the best way to put it in dormancy?(i dont have a greenhouse or any way to leave it outside and protected).

Here are some Photos: does it look healthy to you?

It looks likes it's in good shape although it could use a little more light. You could place it in the fridge for dormancy, but you will want to prepare the plant for that first. I would suggest placing the flytrap by a cool windowsill that receives sunlight for 3-4 weeks. During this period, the cool temperatures and short amount of daylight should signal the plant to enter dormancy. I would not recommend immediately placing it in the fridge as this can cause significant damage to the flytrap.

that was what i was thinking, how long should the acclamation period be?
And can i place it in the garage(unheated, not attached to the house, no sun)?

As long as the temperature doesn't fall below freezing in there it should be fine.
