Depends where you live, Fly traps will soon be getting ready enter dormancy soon here in the U.S once the cold weather hits flytraps tend to go dormant.I remember last year it was around this time of year when I ordered my plants from this very site , I was able to enjoy their amazing abilities for a month or two since in mid or late October the weather gets colder and the plants die's back to rest till the upcoming spring in which they grow bigger and stronger. If you do buy it bare root be sure you obtain the right media for it , i suggest you read these two articles provided by this site. Also you can choose when to put it into dormancy but remember a rested fly trap is a happy fly trap. I grow mines outside here in California. Last thing if want check out my utube videos of my plant here

The flytrapstore actually sells plants all year long as long as they are in stock. You can also request access to flytrapsource and you'll be able to buy plants that are dormant or unacclimated for a few dollars cheaper since they take special requirments to acclimate them and also because dormant plants don't look as good as plants in their spring growth.

Remember though the later in the year the more likely you're going to get dormant plants and you'll have to follow the dormancy requirments for a healthy plant. But you still have a month or so before they go dormant assuming you live in the US.

It's another store that we set up last winter to offer some dormant plants for sale to people who understood that they'd appear much smaller. We also offered plants out of tissue culture that weren't fully hardened off yet. It still exists but has had nothing in stock since early spring.
