um, this is my first time hearing about the dormancy thing that venus fly trap does in winter and i like to make sure i do the right thing so could you tell me if the following is good enough conditions for my venus fly trap to go into dormancy. i live in canada and winters here are very cold so i have my venus fly trap indoors. can i just put in near my window beacuse as fall comes the temperture outside will drop slowly and the plant can go to dormant on its own right? and when winter comes i will close the window so it does not get too cold but its still only about 7-13 degress Celsius. and i will leave it by the window all day so the plant will get about 8-10 hours of sun light. is that ok? Also i like to ask one more thing, will a venus fly trap die if it eats too much like 1 big ant, 1 small bee, and 1 small fly in a week? if it does die, how can i stop it and if it does not die how long should i wait untill i can let it eat bugs again?
