Hi my Venus flytraps cilias are turning brown and shriveling dose anyone know why?

It can be caused by low humidity and intense sunlight, but it is usually because the trap is old and it is beginning to shed off the rest of the plant.

So should I raise the humidity? Or should I lower the direct sunlight

Some shading on hot days can help, highering the humidity and keeping it constant can be a hassle outdoors.

A couple of traps on my B52's have done this in the past week. I am about 98% sure that it is caused by old traps reaching expiration, due to the fact that San Diego's weather has been absolutely mild in the past week(low 80's).
