It would be cool if users could lock their own posts. :D
So say I was selling something, then sold it. I could then lock the thread because I created it.

I've set up a few phpBB based forums in the past, and as I recall there's no way to allow a user to lock their own post (not saying an extension of some sort doesn't exist somewhere...). That being said, if you're selling something you can always go back and edit the OP as well as the thread title informing readers the item has been sold
