Hi my name is Meghan and I just rescued a VFT from a pet store two days ago that had NO clue how to raise or care for them!
I'm hoping with time and with the help of this site and forum I can nurse it to full health and have a beautiful VFT like I've always wanted

I'm also interested in having and caring for Pitcher plants one day!

PS - Edited: Yes, look into the various varieties of Sarracenia . There are beautiful plants and very easy to grow!!

It's sad that stores that have no knowledge on the plant would take on trying to care for them, a lot of the other VFT there had many dead, black traps and some have the flowers growing from them.
And once I find somewhere around here where I can get them/seeds for them I'm going to try! They really are beautiful
