John,
I got fresh seeds from friends so I have no problem in sterilization at all. I use NaDCC 5gram /liter for 15 minutes then wash with sterilized water for 5 minutes. I love NaDCC because it's cheap and it less damages to TC cells than Clorox. It's very stable for years when it's dry. Just weight 0.5 gram of it then dissolve in 100ml distilled water; wait for 1/2 hour for the solution is stable then sterilize explants. Store or discard solution after use if you want. I use it for almost everything including orchid and carnivorous seeds and explants. You can buy it at swimming pool, hardware stores like Kmart, Lowe. Try granulate NaDCC instead of tablet so it's easy to weight and handle; select 99% NaDCC. Try it and you will love it, John.

My friends told me to try NaDCC; I did and love it. Finally, I found an "official" document about NaDCC. Thank you Snap!!!! Will try 10 000 ppm.
