Hi

is coco-peat ok to use?
its like peat moss but made from coconut extracts and
comes in a compressed block where you put it in water
to soak and un-compress it.

Most coco-peat contains too many dissolved solids to be used safely.

One would have to repeatedly soak it, measuring the resulting soak water with a TDS meter, until the PPM reading falls well under 50.
