And yes, our side won =D Our house is actually a Mercenary house, so we fight for whoever bids the highest. What makes that awesome, is we are the deciding factor in who wins the war. We're pretty awesome.

I can't fight yet because I have issues with asthma..really stinks, but eh. it's ok =] My boyfriend got 2 awards, one of them is the most prestigious awards you can get in the SCA...I was so proud =D

Nah. I have a few friends in the SCA so I know something about it.

I go to Renaissance Faires, own a few kilts, play the occasional tabletop/dice RPG, and listen to a lot of celtic and irish punk music though.

Been to an SCA event as a guest, but never had any desire to join up.

We love ren faires, as long as they aren't the one that comes to our town...they've banned our group from the tournaments because we always win...and people get mad at just how period our clothes are. =[ We much prefer the one in Vegas. We love tabletop games...in the group, we have about 6 games going right now xD If you like that sort of music, you may like the Yoshida Brothers. It's more asian-y, but holy wow. It's amazing.

Which event did you go to? Guessing on your area, was it Pennsik?
