heya. I used a 24h photo period for pullings and it worked great! Same for germinating seeds. Sped things up.

I'm using a 16 hour photoperiod on mine right now, but will definitely try 24 at some point.

i was worried the lack of dark time would hinder them in some way but i might switch to 24h at somepoint to see if i can pump out a little more growth.

For me there is no need to do the long photoperiod at all. I just grow them in normal daylight and water just over the sphagnum creating mini pools of water in the sphagnum and stick the pulling in. They struck 40-50% in two and a half weeks. For pullings with roots I stick them in a vft pot with a water tray an put it in some shade. They grow leaves in two and a half weeks. I found out that the pullings with a "fat" rhizome work best because the ones with a thin rhizome got too wet and became soggy and droopy.

Please correct me if I'm wrong because I only had one go at pullings.

I found the age of the leaf/cutting made a big difference. I never had a pulling of an old leaf or mature flower stalk strike. Almost all brand new ones struck in all sorts of conditions.
