Hello everyone,

I am getting my Venus Flytrap this coming weekend, and just reading up on the info on how to have a healthy and strong flytrap. Problem is Singapore doesn't have any seasons, only sunny and rainy days. So I wonder if there will be a problem with this, and will the Flytrap go into the dormant state.

Hello and welcome to our lovely community!

Anyone can grow a venus fly trap any where in the world; dormancy can be introduced in a variety of ways. Some people use the "fridge method" to overwinter their plants; I suggest doing a search on the forums for related articles. There are mixed opinions about fridge dormancies but I'm afraid I can't comment as I haven't tried it myself. Good luck!
