Looking for these species, willing to trade for.......

by jht-union » Sat Apr 09, 2011 9:14 pm

FTC community,

Is the time again to expand my collection even a bit more.

I'm looking specifically for this species, but if you have any other offer, let me know. I'm accepting seeds, plants, cuttings, anything that will keep growing.
Hit me with anything, and i wil probably accepted! :)
If you send anything free, i will greatly appreciated more than ever, and i will keep you in mind for sure, if you understand what i mean ;)

Why these species? they are simply native CP's of north carolina, and just thought about getting them, perhaps my next project will be in 2012 spring, growing CP's in my garden and having a whole CP garden full of CP's natives! ;) (living 2 hours away from the VFT home, it shouldn't be a problem growing them outside, only problem is evil squirrels and birds)

Hi jht-union,
I have a Sarracenia hybrid that I believe is Sarracenia x Catesbaei. Here's a link: download/file.php?id=7449 The picture was taken in December.
Let me know if you're interested.

Hey, I live in Raleigh!! I have a couple Sarracenias you don't grow. Right now, I have an extra "Lovebug" and could take cuttings of anything else. I've got "Doodlebug", "Ladybug", "Redbug", Judith Hindle, Scarlet Belle, Purpurea ssp. purpurea, Leucophylla Tarnok. Also have some Droseras that may be able to have cuttings taken, and some flytraps and pinguiculas that could stand a division.

I checked out your growlist, and it's impressive!! Mine's at the top of the "grow list" forum section if you want to check it out. There's also a link to some pictures I took a few days ago.

I just noticed i haven't put this, i'm willing to trade this for sure, send me a pm or in here.

-VFT random pullings- including czech giant, red typical, pink venus, cupped trap...etc( i can figure out the clone variety in some of the pullings)(pullings count individually of my choice, since some i can't identify)

- 1 VFT vigorious- young plant-( trade for another plant)

-drosera ruby slipper- cuttings( it is the best drosera i have ever seen in my opinion, it has extremely red color, and is very cute)

-D. adelae-cutting( easy to get 4-6 seedlings out of 1 pulling in a period of 2 weeks)

- D.adelae-small seedlings(taken from cutting)( 1 left)

-drosera capensis alba- clumps of about 20 or more(really hard to count them sorry )(ask for how many clumps as i have several)

-Drosera capensis alba- cuttings

-Drosera capensis- clumps of about 20 or more( i think i have 2-3 clumps of 20 or more, ask if interested)

-Drosera capensis- cutting( i can make cutting of the leafs i see that are big, because they are small right now)

-Any other drosera cuttings or small drosera plants from my list you're interested on.(let me know which ones)

- 1-3 Small VFT's- unkown unname seedlings( VFT's from seed have the potential of becoming really interesting plants once they reach teenage age at age of 3 years, i hope that out of the 500 or more vft babies i have, i get at least some 4-5 interesting VFT's, maybe one day i can register one )(1-3 left)

-Sarracenia rubra- division small( 1 left)

-Drosera spatulata young plants( i can trade 7-8 with you, each count individually as trading things)( 8-7 left)

-czech giant pulling( 1 left)

-Dentate pulling(1 left)

-sawtooth pulling(1 left)

-Red piranha pulling( 1 left)

-dutch delight pulling( 1 left)

- big vigorious pulling(1 left)

-Clayton's red sunset pulling( 1 left)

-Jaws pulling( 1 left)

- shark's teeth pulling( 1 left)

-1 Red typical VFT small division( with own root system)( 1 left)

I take just about anything that will continue growing, preferably plants. If you have any plant from the list above( the plants native to NC), let me know ASAP so that we can arrange a good deal. I'm accepting anything i don't have in my list as well, and the list above does not means that's the only things i'm trading, make sure to read my growlist, and if you find anything of your interest that is not here, let me know as well, and i might be able to trade them! :) :D
