Though I haven't tried it yet, if you remove the plant from the soil (obviously) and then you find the taproot, which should be a thick root with a white tip on it, and then you cut it off (though I'm not sure how much to cut, maybe an inch or two?) and then you just plant it, white end up, I believe.

I've had great success with leaf pullings on sundews, but root cuttings might be faster.
