When do I cut the stalk when it is green or brown it has been 4 weeks and one day I'll get pics later thanks

Slender Plant (my D. Capensis Alba) is currently flowering too; it has finished its flower cycle and I have decided to wait until the flower stalk begins to brown before harvesting, I did some research and this is what was recommended.

If you have already harvested the seed, feel free to cut off the stalk right away.

"Retired" in 2017.

I intend on cutting the stalk off and gently tapping it on a piece of white paper; if that doesn't work I'll gently take apart each seed pod using a cocktail stick (aka. toothpick) =].
