i grow my VTF outside, where it is usually above 70 degrees or so. but at night it lower to 60s and even 50s. cant the plant take this every day? or do i have to bring it in every night?

It can take those temperatures just fine. It's still getting down into the 30s here in Ashland, Oregon!!! They'll grow faster if they're kept at least in the 50s at night, but temperatures down into the 30s don't harm them.
