HAHA, can't help you with answer. I'd presume it would be okay if it is a fresh catch Personally, I turn on my porch light and swat bugs out of the air with a small insect net.

Anything still on the web will be fine

If it's still alive, then all the more reason to put it out of it's misery... and put it into a different misery instead
