Stinkbugs okay?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has fed their VFT's stinkbugs before.

There are so many of them around my house, so i fed my VFT's some stinkbugs today.

However, i just read online that they suck on plant juices, so does that mean they can kill my VFT?

yes they are okay as long as they fit inside the trap.. hehe im my culture (Navajo) we use stinkbug pee to heal cold sores and it works!

Hi mungomatt,

When a stinkbug gets trapped in a VFT and the trap is sealed, he can suck on the digestive fluids as much as he wants, it'll only speed up his death.
Furthermore, the primary cause of death for a bug trapped in a VFT is suffocation.

thanks for the replies guys.

so....one of the stinkbug's antenaea is sticking out of my VFT, will that cause any problems?

the trap is closed completely btw.
