Possible rebound?

Alright so about a week ago I ran an experiment with a package of moss that was supposedly sphagnum moss but was actually green sheet moss. While they were doing well at first.

They are starting to turn. And heads are starting to blacken. My mom is bringing home peat moss and the silica sand to do an emergency report and all.

My question here is, Can VFT's rebound and come back if all the heads die but they still have green leaves?

VFTs are pretty resilient.
They can bounce back after a lot of abuse.
Repot it in good media, give it lotsa, lotsa, lotsa, light, give it pure water, and it should recover and thrive.
Good growing,
Mike

Yes. I’ve had flytraps completely die back on top, no traps or leaves. As long as the rhizome is healthy, they can make a full recovery. It can take months to see any signs, so patience is the key. Good luck.
