Ping dry leaves

Hello there.
About two months ago, I bought a terribly light-starved P. moranensis. It has since started throwing out new leaves and there are several tiny rosettes growing out of the sides.
On the other hand, the plant seems to be struggling to produce mucilage. New leaves are usually covered in it, but right after unfurling they dry out and stay that way. It is my first ping ever and I have no experience in growing them. I'd like to ask, whether the reason for their weak dew production is dry dormancy, or something else.

The ping is planted in a peat-sand mixture on a windowsill. I water it about once a week, keeping it moist, but not too wet and not standing in water. It gets about 3 hours of afternoon sun right now, bright indirect light the rest of the day. The humidity levels are around 30-40%, due to it being winter, although my sundews are all dewy - so I don't think humidity is an issue.

watch out for frost

it looks like you actually have 2 specimens, do you count the number of hearts .
may be also necrotic leaves (those which are a little brown)
maybe healthy leaf cuttings would be an idea to guarantee you plants, top

Yes, the plant has split, there are at least 3 little rosettes in addition to the large one.

Leaf shape looks a bit different from the moranensis types I have seen. So I am wondering if the growing conditions are appropriate or if something is a bit off. I would double-check that the soil and water both are low TDS. Then I would also check that it is getting appropriate moisture and humidity Try top watering for a few weeks to see if that helps.

I water using distilled water and use the same growing mix for all of my CPs, they all grow fine. I'll try top watering more often and placing it under humidity dome and see, if that helps, thanks for your suggestion.

separate them.
it is a real moranensis or an hybrid ? have you a flower picture ?
if they don't have mucilage, they may be dormant.
attention to watering, especially with a peat-based substrate, simply maintain a moist substrate without more (otherwise risk of rot).
monitors plants especially for those with a brown color

with healthy green leaves I would make cuttings
