Hey, I wanted to throw these pics out here and see if you guys could confirm if this is spider mite damage. Whatever they are, they laid waste to my new growth so my sarrs are looking rather sad right now. Ive already treated everything with a systemic and cleaned out all the dead growth but I wanted to confirm as spider mites arent really a threat here in Florida. I cant really confirm where they came from but I believe it was a milkweed plant I got online

I think you have something other than spider mites going on. The damage to me looks more like a slug or caterpillar. The stuff on the webs in the one picture looks like caterpillar turds. I had a big problem with cut worms last year. They would hide under the sphagnum moss during the day and eat the plants at night. The webbing could also be from a caterpillar laying eggs. You might try Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew. It is a biologic insecticide that kills caterpillars.

Good idea. I figured caterpillars were involved to some degree. As far as the spots it seemed like they migrated to the stalk after I sprayed the plant. I had a bag on the flower. There was also some other damage I didnt photo. Pitchers were coming in small/warped and the older ones begin all terminating at the same time across the board. Ive been keeping an eye on them every day but I'll look into what you recommended. Thanks a lot man
